In any situation, disagreement and conflict can occur, but allowing conflict to go unaddressed in an unhealthy practice for the Body of Christ. Wouldn’t it be great to have a step by step Christian life tool for working through these difficult issues?! Join Epworth United Methodist Church for a facilitated discussion on the “Rule of Christ,” as outlined in Matthew 18:15-17. We are excited to welcome Kay Roberts, who has consulted with MN Annual Conference and is an executive coach, working with entrepreneurs, management teams and CEO’s throughout the United States.
This is an individual, family, work, school, and church- equipping life tool that you will want to understand and begin using right away. We hope you leave the discussion with the right tools for handling disagreement in a Christ-like manner in all areas of your life.
The discussion will begin directly after Worship and will include a catered lunch.
Kay has been consulting with the MN Annual Conference for over 20 years. Her work has encompassed full brand identity change management projects, to working with clergy as their executive coach and with the early Clergy Leadership Academy. In addition, Kay was part of the original Healthy Church Initiative Team piloting the first process within the conference at White Bear Lake UMC. In addition she is a long standing trainer for RULE OF CHRIST, a valuable Christian resource for creating a healthy church.
